Finally got myself a real smart phone today in the mail! Sure, my old phone runs some 4.something version of Android so it functions. But that phone retailed at $100 brand new whereas my new one was around $500 (when new). I don’t need the latest and greatest so I picked it up for about $200 (still new, but 2 years after release). Now I just need a phone provider to run it on!
In even better news, my new front sway bar and end links are installed on my Miata and ready for the test and tune tomorrow! That is an even better upgrade
Rusty old sway bar and links, good bye!

Nice, which Xperia is it? I know very little about the Xperia lineup, or which phone is the current one. A couple weeks ago, I upgraded, too. Not as big of a jump (HTC One M7 to LG G5), but still significant.

I specifically wanted a phone that was less than 5 inches and also was not iPhone or something from 2012 or older. Now that leaves me with a couple REALLY low end phones (which aren’t terrible, but aren’t much better than my old one) and then the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and the Sony Xperia z3 compact. This phone is only 4.6 inches, has a 2.5 ghz quad core, 2 gb ram, and a really great battery. I really wanted something with a removable battery but there weren’t any options that fit my other criteria. Battery is supposed to easily last two days though so I’ll see how it goes! Also planning to get a 128gb microsd card since they are only $40 now. Crazy how just a few years ago I spent that much for an 8gb one.

128 GB SD card is appealing. Storage over newness in my opinion; so many people have 16GB iPhone 6-onwards and complain about storage. Maybe I’ll ask for a 128GB card for my birthday or something; the G5 can hold up to 2,000GB, but I think 128GB is reasonable enough.

Haha is there even a 2TB micro sd out there yet? That would truly be the future once that is affordable!
